An Irregular Hole in a Coquina wall

An Irregular Hole in a Coquina wall

This part of the coquina limestone wall has suffered some damage from weathering. There was likely a square hole in this part of the wall before it started to crumble away, although the area may have been weakened by battle damage. The fort is a National Monument, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
