This house, known as the Newcomb-Ammons Home, stands at 1302 Jackson Street. This house was built, around 1915, by Thomas P. Newcomb. The house was purchased by M.F. Ammons, in 1927. Wide steps lead up to the front porch, and the front door. The house has a low-pitched, side-gable roof. There is a large, gabled dormer on the roof, with three rectangular windows. The roof extends over the porch, and is supported by paired, square pillars.Galleries:Corinth, Views of Houses, ExteriorKeywords:corinth, gabled dormer, house, mississippi, newcomb-ammons house, pillars, side gable, sidewalkPhoto Location: Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 10/31/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.01F Number: 11Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 34°56'03.32"N 88°31'20.17"WPicture Number: 20636
