Diwan Khana-I-Am

Diwan Khana-I-Am

Diwan-I-Am, of the Hall of Public Audience, is near the Agra Gate. It functioned as a place for petitions of the public for Akbar, and where he did justice every morning. It is surrounded by 111 bays by the use of square pillars. It also includes the Throne Chamber that Akbar used for "sun worship".
