Faneuil Hall, Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1742 by Boston’s wealthiest merchant, Peter Faneuil, Faneuil Hall was home to merchants, fishermen, and meat and produce sellers. Faneuil Hall is often referred to as the Cradle of Liberty.
