Floating Barriers Used for Restoring Wetlands at Circle B Bar Reserve
Yellow floating barriers can be seen in this photo of an area under restoration at the Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. The land was previously used for a cattle ranch. This resulted in diminished water quality on the ranch as well as having a negative impact on the Peace River's water quality as water from the property eventually flowed into the river.Galleries:Ecological Restoration, Polk, Restoring a Wetland EcosystemKeywords:Circle B Bar Reserve, Polk County, SWFWMD, algae, mitigation, nature, plants, restoration, water, wetlandsPhoto Location: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland, FLPhotographer: Bradley StagerDate of Photo: 05/02/2013Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.0025F Number: 5.6Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 27°59'24"N 81°52'00"WPicture Number: 23221
