Several minutes after blue dye was introduced at the bottom of wells 1, 2, and 3, the plume has traveled the shortest distance in the unconfined aquifer. The dye indicates that the water in the fractured bedrock layer has traveled the fastest and has already been drawn up into artesian well number 9 and flowed into the river. Note that the model represents in minutes what may take many years in the ground.Galleries:Geologic Strata, Groundwater Model, Water CycleKeywords: fractured bedrock, aquiclude, aquifer, aquitard, artesian wells, water flowPhoto Location: FCIT Photo Studio, Tampa, FLPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 08/08/2013Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.1F Number: 14Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 28°3'40.85"N 82°24'36.26"WPicture Number: 23201
