Antique doll with bisque head and jointed wood body. The back of the head is inscribed: "Made in Germany 390 A 6/O M." Armand Marseille of Sonneberg and Koppelsdorf, Thuringia, Germany was one of the worlds largest and best known bisque doll head manufacturers between 1885 and 1950. This doll has bisque socket head, jointed body, glass eyes, open slight smiling mouth, and a removable wig. Her clothes are original. The figure stands 11 inches (28 cm) tall.
