This photograph shows the main wall and parapet of Castillo de San Marcos' southwest bastion, St. Peter. The photo was taken from the southeast bastion, St. Augustine. Red paint is shown on the southwest bastion's sentry tower. The Spanish painted the fort's walls white and the sentry towers red, the two colors of the Cross of Burgundy flag used by the Spanish military.
