Mariyam's House

Mariyam's House

This small building is painted colors and gold on the interior. It is known as Maryam's House, as Akbar's Mother Hamida Banu Hedum (entitled Maryam Makani) lived here once. The religious significance of this woman would be equal in rank to Mary in the Christian faith.
