Miracle Fruit Leaves

This picture of miracle fruit (Synsepalum dulcificum) leaves was taken at the USF Botanical Gardens. The miracle fruit plant produces an edible berry that produces a chemical called miraculin that causes sour foods to taste sweet when they are eaten together.
