"Modern Head"

Roy Lichtenstein's "Modern Head", conceived in 1974 and fabricated 1989-1990 from painted stainless steel. It formerly stood in Battery Park, near the World Trade Center in New York City, and was relocated to its present location in Washington DC in November of 2001.
