Riesenrad at the Prater

Riesenrad at the Prater

The Wiener Riesenrad is a large Ferris wheel located near the entrance of the Prater amusement park in Vienna. IT was originally built in 1897 to celebrate Emperor Franz Josef I's golden Jubilee. The ride was severely damaged in World War II and was rebuilt with only 15 of the original gondolas.
