In the process of screenprinting, a mesh screen is stretched over a wooden or metal frame. The artist will either burn a photographic image or hand-draw an image directly onto the screen for printing. In order for the screen to stay steady so the artist can pull ink over the screen properly, metal clamps are used to help the screen to a wooden board or table.Galleries:Hillsborough, PrintmakingKeywords:art, clamp, print, printmaking, screenprintingPhoto Location: University of South Florida Print Shop, Tampa, FLPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 03/08/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIOriginal Dimensions: 3744×5616Picture Orientation: PortraitGPS Coordinates: 28°3'16.5269"N 82°24'49.4262"WPicture Number: 4340
