The Coins on Revere's Tomb

The Coins on Revere's Tomb

This domed tablet headstone marks the grave of Paul Revere. Visitors leave coins to commemorate their visit. Paul Revere was one of the few copper engravers working in Massachusetts, at the outbreak of the American Revolution. Additionally, Paul Revere may have designed the so called Massachusetts Pine Tree penny.
