The Double Columns of the Arcade

The Double Columns of the Arcade

This section of the arcade uses a double-shafted column to support the arches. There is a repeating pattern of two columns between piers, with half-columns providing additional support for the piers. Each of the capitals is slightly different. The monastery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
