This image shows the ramp that provides access to the ravelin, a detached fortification outside Fort Marion. There are two square pillars at the entrance. To the right, the walls of the main fort can be seen, as well as the bridge that connects the ravelin with the fort. Fort Marion is also known as Castillo de San Marcos. The fort is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a National Monument.
