This is the Hammond House, also known as the Wallace House, at 1004 North Fillmore Street. The house was built around 1877, in the Second Empire style. The original design was likely by James T. Calender, for the Boone family. At the time this photograph was taken, this was the location of the Corinth Realty offices. The porch roof is supported by five columns. There is an addition, on the side of the house, with a front-gabled roof.Galleries:Corinth, Second Empire, Views of Houses, ExteriorKeywords:boone home, columns, corinth, corinth realty offices, front door, front gable, hammond house, mansard roof, mississippi, second empire style, wallace housePhoto Location: Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Nathan WolkenhauerDate of Photo: 10/31/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.0005F Number: 2.8Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 34°56'03.32"N 88°31'20.17"WPicture Number: 21257
