This is the Abe Rubel House, at 1109 Jackson Street. The house was built in 1904. The brick house is built in a Neoclassical style, with Georgian Revival influences, which is frequently called Colonial Revival in areas where English
colonists predominated.
The house was constructed with three bays. There is a triple arched window on the second floor of the central bay. The windows of the outer bays have flat arches. The front door is set into a three-centered arch, with sidelights and a transom.Galleries:Colonial Revival, Corinth, Views of Houses, ExteriorKeywords:abe rubel house, brick house, colonial revival, corinth, flat arch, georgian revival, house, mississippi, neoclassical, sidelights, three-centered arch, transom, triple arched windowPhoto Location: Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 10/31/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.01F Number: 20Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 34°56'03.32"N 88°31'20.17"WPicture Number: 20629
