This is the Gift-Williams House, at 1102 North Fillmore
Street, in Corinth, Mississippi. The house was under
construction from 1886, to 1888. The house was built by
James E. Gift, and the estate was named “Hillcrest.” The house has a full-height entry porch that is supported by Doric columns. The original architecture of the house was reportedly a combination of Eastlake Victorian and Neoclassical elements; but, the house has been remodeled in a Colonial Revival style. This image provides an unobstructed view of the house's front elevation.Galleries:Colonial Revival, Corinth, Views of Houses, ExteriorKeywords:colonial revival, corinth, doric columns, front elevation, full-height entry, gift-williams house, hillcrest, house, mississippi, porte-cochèrePhoto Location: Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 10/31/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.0125F Number: 22Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 34°56'03.32"N 88°31'20.17"WPicture Number: 20682
