The Front Elevation of the "The General's Quarters."

The Front Elevation of the "The General's Quarters."

The General's Quarters, at 924 Fillmore Street. The building was built in the early 1890s, as the First Baptist Church parsonage, and was remodeled in the early 1910s. The structure is also known as the Bynum House. The remodel of the house appears to have been strongly influenced by the Craftsman style. The front porch is fully enclosed. The roof of the second-floor porch is supported by battered box piers, and round columns.
