The Lucerne Hotel is a white, wood frame building. A covered porch runs along the entire front of the building. On the second floor, there is a covered balcony, with a gabled roof. The main building has a mansard roof, with shallow, gabled dormers. The grassy grounds of the hotel are covered with small palm trees and ornamental bushes.
