This building shows rusticated masonry on the exterior arcade, with a terracotta tile roof. The supports of the corner arches are robust, with slender columns supporting the arches in the central part of the arcade. This type of architecture is often referred to as Mediterranean Revival, which generally means that the building includes elements of the Second Italian Renaissance style, the Italianate style, the Spanish Colonial Revival style, and sometimes the Spanish Mission Revival style. This building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Galleries:Government Buildings, Pinellas, St. PetersburgKeywords:open air post office, post office, saint petersburg, souvenir postcard folder 102, st. petersburgPhoto Location: St. Petersburg, FloridaOriginal Dimensions: 3000×2034Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 27°46'23.00"N 82°38'24.00"WSource:Souvenir Folder of St. Petersburg, Fla. cover, backPicture Number: 16994
