The lower spiral, in this image, shows the end of the twenty-eighth panel, and the twenty-ninth. In this section of the twenty-eighth panel, the Romans are moving supplies with mules. Roman soldiers are recuperating from their recent battle. In the twenty-ninth panel, Trajan is holding a baton, and a soldier pushes a prisoner toward him.

The upper spiral, in this photograph, shows most of panel thirty-three, and the beginning of panel thirty-four. In panel thirty-three, Trajan receives aid from some friendly locals, in a fortified town. In panel thirty-four, the Roman move out, over a floating bridge.
