This is the Rowsey Home, at 1222 Jackson Street. The house was built by a Civil War photographer named William H Rowsey, in 1870. The wood frame house was constructed in the Greek Revival style. The front door is flanked by narrow, rectangular sidelights, with a rectangular transom above the doorway. The roof of the front porch is supported by six square pillars.
