This house is located at 503 East Fourth Street, and is also known as the Sewell Home. The boxy central massing, deep eaves with modillions, hipped roof, and central dormer are all suggestive of Italianate influences, but some sources suggest an eclectic interpretation of the Craftsman style. The size of the house's footprint is enlarged by a porch, and a porte-cochère. The house was built at the beginning of the 20th century. There is a three-paneled bay window, and decorative, oval-shaped ox-eye window, on the second floor.Galleries:Corinth, Views of Houses, ExteriorKeywords:corinth, deep eaves, hipped roof, mississippi, ox-eye window, porte-cochère, sewell home, three-paneled bay windowPhoto Location: Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Nathan WolkenhauerDate of Photo: 10/31/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.00125F Number: 2.8Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 34°56'03.32"N 88°31'20.17"WPicture Number: 21231
