The Stewart Home in Corinth, Mississippi

The Stewart Home in Corinth, Mississippi

This brick house is the Stewart Home, at 1005 Fillmore Street. The house was built by James Erskine Stewart, around 1859. The house is a simple gabled-ell, although the partial-width front porch shows some Greek Revival influence. The gabled-ell appears to have a brick veneer, although it has been painted white.
