The lower spiral shows the end of panel sixty-nine, and the beginning of panel seventy. In panel sixty-nine, Trajan arrives, on horseback, at a fortified town. At the beginning of panel seventy, Trajan is shown making a sacrifice, just inside the arches of a walled town.
The middle spiral, in this image, shows the end of panel seventy-four, and the beginning of panel seventy-five. In panel seventy-four, the Dacians are attacking a Roman fortification. In panel seventy-five, Trajan leads his cavalry on a rescue operation.
The upper spiral, in this image, shows the end of panel seventy-nine, panel eighty, and the beginning of panel eighty-one. The end of panel seventy-nine shows Trajan meeting up with more of his army. In panel eighty, Trajan conducts a sacrifice. In panel eighty-one, Trajan addresses his troops.
