View of the Orange County Courthouse, Soldiers' Monument, Elks' Club, and the San Juan Hotel

View of the Orange County Courthouse, Soldiers' Monument, Elks' Club, and the San Juan Hotel

The old red brick courthouse in Orlando, Florida was constructed in the Romanesque style. The building has a large, turreted clock tower. The windows of the main building have a curvilinear arch at the top, but the windows of the clock tower are narrow and rectangular. A short flight of stairs leads up to an arcade with robust pillars. In the intersection, outside the courthouse, there is a statue on a tall pillar; it is a memorial dedicated to Confederate soldiers. In the distance, the Elks' Club and the San Juan Hotel are visible.
