Wetland area under restoration at Circle B Bar Reserve
Wetland areas of the Circle B Bar Reserve are returned to a more natural condition after the property was used for a cattle ranching operation. This involves restoring the capacity to retain water and repairing damage caused by the ranching operation's water management. At the top are yellow, floating barriers. To the left is a pumping station used by the cattle operation to pump water across the property.Galleries:Polk, Restoring a Wetland EcosystemKeywords:Circle B Bar Reserve, Polk County, SWFWMD, cattle, mitigation, nature, ranching, waterPhoto Location: Circle B Bar Reserve, Lakeland, FLPhotographer: Bradley StagerDate of Photo: 05/02/2013Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.0025F Number: 5.6Original Dimensions: 5616×3744Picture Orientation: LandscapeGPS Coordinates: 27°59'24"N 81°52'00"WPicture Number: 23213
