This panorama taken on the Anza Trail depicts Camp 21: El Aquituni. This camp was occupied on the night of October 29, 1775, at the known watering spot El Aquituni. This land was Apache territory, which Anza proceeded through cautiously. The setting sun casts a lavender, almost spectral hue on the distant mountains.
