The Later Spanish Church, as Seen From House "A" at Gran Quivira

This panorama gives a close-up look at the excavated ruins of the Pueblo structure now referred to as "House A". Beyond the crumbling stone walls of House A, one can see the impressively intact ruins of the later Spanish church. The church construction was begun round 1659, but was never completed, due to famine and Apache raids.
