La Fortaleza Walkway

La Fortaleza and gardens are to the left in this panorama and San Juan Bay is to the right. La Fortaleza was the first fort built in San Juan. Due to its location, it could do little to secure the harbor entrance from attack. La Fortaleza has been the residence of Puerto Rico's governors since 1544.
