View Near a Garita at Castillo San Felipe del Morro

An all-encompassing panoramic view of the path leading up to a garita, also called a sentry box. Garitas were considered "absolutely indispensable for a good defense" by military engineers of the time. Garitas gave the sentries who occupied them unparalleled views of various regions of the fortifications. Here one can see the Lighthouse Faro, the garita, and the ocean beyond.
