Castillo de San Cristóbal as Seen from the Center

An all-encompassing panoramic view of Castillo de San Cristóbal as seen from the center. Designed by the Irish-born engineer Thomas O\'Daly, this fortress is the biggest European fortification in the Americas. One can see numerous embrasures, the casemates on the lower levels, ramps, sentry boxes, loopholes, and the WWII observation post. Clouds streak the bright blue sky overhead.
