Sun Setting over Painted Rock Petroglyph Site

This panorama was taken in the late afternoon as the sun begins to set over the petroglyph mound. The Painted Rock Petroglyph Site contains about 800 images pecked into the weathered basalt boulders by Native Americans and other visitors to the site. The Anza expedition passed near here.
