What is Life?

Students will use spreadsheets to distinguish the living and non-living objects they encounter.

Objectives

  • Students will be able to identify/classify objects that are living, were living, or never lived.

Procedure

  • Teacher will model living/nonliving things for students.
  • Allow students brainstorm topic in a groups, independently.
  • Download spreadsheet onto laptops.
  • Send students out on campus to explore and discover for 10-15 minutes.
  • Each group reports results to class
