Florida the Best WebQuest

Students will demonstrate that Florida is the Best State by creating a multimedia presentation.

Objectives

  • Create a multimedia presentation demonstrating that Florida is the Best State.
  • Work cooperatively with a group of students to accomplish tasks Learn about Florida symbols, geography, history, and culture.

Procedure

  • Assign students to cooperative learning groups with roles.
  • Provide each student with grading rubric.
  • Each Student uses the Internet and search engine to find information and graphics about their assigned topic about Florida.
  • Students place information in a presentation program template.
  • Each student writes a persuasive essay with a word processor to the President of the US about how Florida is the best state.
  • Groups of students create a poster.
  • Individual students who have completed the project can create their own presentation.
