Description: A sketch map of the Battle of Sobraon, fought on February 10, 1846 between the Sikh Khalsa Army and the British East India Company under Sir Hough Gough during the First Anglo–Sikh War (1845–1846). The map shows Sikh lines of defence and batteries along the River Sutlej and the British advances from Gutta, Rodawala, and Assya. The Sikhs were completely defeated, making this the deciding battle of the war.
