The large masonry structure is the Skew Arch Bridge. The building, in the distance, is Engine House Six. There is a railroad car on the tracks, below the arch of the bridge. This visitor center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, as part of the Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site.
