A View of the Declaration Stone against the Backdrop of a Brick Building
This water feature, entitled “The Stream of American History,” is part of the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center. The water feature uses symbolism to represent the history of the United States, in relationship to the Civil War. The large blocks of stone, in the center of the water feature, all represent major battles and campaigns of the Civil War. Names that are all in capital letters are campaigns, and the rest are battles. The size of blocks reflect the number of casualties in a given campaign or battle. In this photograph, the Declaration Stone is shown against the backdrop of the brick walls of the visitor center.Galleries:Corinth Civil War Interpretive CenterKeywords:brick, brick veneer, civil war, corinth, corinth civil war interpretive center, declaration stone, mississippi, stone block, stream of american history, symbolism, visitor center, water featurePhoto Location: Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center, Corinth, MississippiPhotographer: Nathan WolkenhauerDate of Photo: 10/29/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.0004F Number: 2.8Original Dimensions: 3438×5016Picture Orientation: PortraitGPS Coordinates: 34°56'14.50"N 88°31'48.06"WPicture Number: 21058
