Canadian female doll that is made from wood. Her base is a round wood "stump" and has a wood rod that runs up to a wooden bead for the head. Her dress is made from rich blue brocade, and has gold trim on the skirt and white lace on the collar/shawl. Her face is stenciled on wood ball, and she has synthetic black hair. She is holding a muff made from black fur. Tag: "Hand made in Canada by Jeannette Katz." "The Governor’s Wife, Circa 1670." The figure stands 9 inches (23 cm) tall.
