Seminole Indian woman. This doll is hand made with native palmetto fiber, from palm or palmetto husks. Her dress has rick rack trim. Her facial features are embroidered by hand on her palmetto face. She is wearing beaded necklaces and earrings. Her hair is made from black knit material. Similar costumes are worn by Seminole men and women in festivals and "powwow" events. The figure stands 7 inches (18 cm) tall.
