Foundation of the 1830 Church at the Quarai Ruins

Foundation of the 1830 Church at the Quarai Ruins

Pictured are foundations 200 years younger than the walls of the pueblo and mission of Quarai. When Spanish settlers moved back to the Salinas district, they started to build a small church here from the old mission stones. It was never finished.
