This photograph of green ash (Fraxinus pennsylvanica) leaves was taken at the USF Botanical Gardens. Green ash trees can grow up to 100 feet in height and have a single trunk. They grow in full sun to partial shade and have low drought tolerance. Green ash trees are native to swamps and floodplains.
