Malayan Tapir Sleeping in Mud at the Artis Royal Zoo

A Malayan tapir (Tapirus indicus) sleeping in the mud of its enclosure at the Artis Royal Zoo. The largest of the four species of tapir, it is easily identified by its markings, in particular the light-colored "saddle" on its back.
