The Community Kitchen, the Granary, and the Blacksmith's Workshop
The white, wood plank building, in the foreground, is the Community Kitchen. The building has three brick chimneys on the roof, and a second roof to cover the vent system. The large, white, wood frame building, with half-timbers on the ground floor, is the Granary. The small, white, wood frame building, with vertical planks, is the Blacksmith's Workshop. Economy was the third settlement started by the Harmonist Society, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Properties. The site is located in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
