This is the Granary. The bottom floor has a partially exposed wood frame, or half-timbering, with plaster covered stones used to fill in the empty spaces. The exterior of the upper stories is covered with wood lap siding. The grain elevator projects from the middle of the building. This building could hold a year's worth of grain. Economy was the third settlement started by the Harmonist Society, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Properties. The site is located in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
