This fire pumper was in use around 1826. The pump handles are made of wood, with metal reinforcements. The pivot point is shielded, and the pump handles run longitudinally. The wheels are wooden, with metal bands protecting the contact surface. Economy was the third settlement started by the Harmonist Society, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Properties. The site is located in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
