This image shows a variety of pottery forms, as well as two bottles and a tin cup. There is a redware plate, with a decoratively painted rim, which may have been given an underglaze slip. There is a brown glazed, redware jug on the table. The is a brown glazed, redware jar under the table. The flared, brown glazed, redware vessel, with the unglazed exterior, is a milk pan. The milk pan was used to hold fresh milk, until the cream rose to the top. The blue and gray vessel is a six gallon stoneware crock, from Hamilton & Jones in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. Economy was the third settlement started by the Harmonist Society, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Properties. The site is located in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
