This image provides a close-up view of the peephole, through the front door of the Paul Revere House. This close-up affords a view of the nails, or rivets, that were used for the door and the hardware. The large bump in the middle of the peephole's hardware probably shields the mechanism that allows the metal to be turned, to allow a person to peep through the hole. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a National Historic Landmark.Galleries:Historical Museums, Paul Revere HouseKeywords:boston, door, door hardware, paul revere, paul revere house, peepholePhoto Location: Boston, MassachusettsPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 05/30/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.008F Number: 11Original Dimensions: 3744×5616Picture Orientation: PortraitGPS Coordinates: 42°21'49.04"N 71°03'13.29"WPicture Number: 18186
